Pat Riley with the Miami Heat

About

The Miami Heat compete in the National Basketball Association (NBA) as a member of the Southeast Division of the Eastern Conference. The club plays its home games at Kaseya Center and has won three NBA championships. The franchise began play in the 1988–89 season as an expansion team. Their culture is amazing — it's the best in the league.

Pat Riley helped build that culture after joining Miami in 1995. As Heat head coach, he led Miami to its first NBA championship in 2006, and as team president he helped guide the organization to more championships in 2012 and 2013.
